South Indian actress Lakshmi Menon has got interim relief from the Kerala High Court in a kidnapping and assault case. The court stayed her arrest till Onam holidays. Now the court will hear her anticipatory bail plea in detail after Onam holidays. Menon is accused of kidnapping and assaulting an IT employee along with her three accomplices. In this case, Ernakulam North Police has registered a case against the actress and her three friends.

The victim youth, who hails from Aluva, told the police in his complaint that he had gone to a restobar in Kochi with his friends. There he had an altercation with the actress's friends over something. Seeing the situation getting worse, he immediately left the restobar with his friends.

But the victim alleges that he was then forcibly kidnapped and beaten on the way.
