After the immense success of ‘Gadar 2’, now the audience will not have to wait for a long time. Director Anil Sharma has recently made it clear in an interview that ‘Gadar 3’ will definitely be made.

During the interview, Anil Sharma also talked about his relationship with Ameesha Patel. He said, “My relationship with Ameesha is absolutely fine now. Everything gets right with time and everything is good at the moment.”

He further said that Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakina (Ameesha Patel) are very important characters in the Gadar franchise. However, the director clarified that their roles will not be discussed much before the release. “Gadar 3 will definitely be made, because we had promised this to the audience in the last scene of ‘Gadar 2’. It was shown there that Jeet (Utkarsh Sharma) is now eligible to join the army. The film ended here.”

The director also said that there is still time for the shooting of ‘Gadar 3’ to begin but the audience will not have to wait much. “We will not have to wait for 20 years. We are hoping that its shooting will begin in the next two years. The work on the story has been done and it will focus on the relationship between Tara Singh and Jeet.”

It is worth noting that at the time of release of ‘Gadar 2’, there were reports of rifts between Ameesha Patel and Anil Sharma. The climax of the film was shot without informing Ameesha, due to which she was upset. However, later Ameesha said in Maniesh Paul's podcast that she wants to forget the past controversy and if the paperwork is done properly, she is ready to work in 'Gadar 3'.
