A big update has come out about the much awaited war drama film 'Border 2' starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. The first teaser of the film has got the green signal from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This teaser will be released in front of the audience on 15 August 2025 and it will be attached with Hrithik Roshan's film 'War 2' in theaters.

Sunny Deol will once again be seen in his famous character in this film, which is being made as a sequel to the 1997 patriotic superhit film 'Border'. This time new generation actors - Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty are also joining him. The film's team sent the teaser to the censor board on August 7, which the board passed with a U/A certificate. This promotional video of about 1 minute 10 seconds will be released in the name of 'Date Announcement Teaser', which will show the release date and story of the film.

The reason for linking it with 'War 2' is also special - keeping in mind the patriotic spirit on the occasion of Independence Day, this teaser will be shown in the same theaters where Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's film will be released. According to sources, the background of the Indo-Pak war, the bravery of the soldiers and the strong comeback of Sunny Deol will be presented in an emotional and exciting way in the teaser.

This film is directed by Anurag Singh, who has previously directed many patriotic and war-based films. It is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. J.P. Dutta is the director who made the original 'Border'.
