Roof collapses during 'Mahavatar Narasimha' screening in Guwahati theatre; Three injured

The animation film 'Mahavtar Narasimha' is performing brilliantly at the box office. The film has completed its 10 days in theatres and its earnings have reached very close to the 100 crore club. But meanwhile, shocking news related to the film has come to light. During the screening of the film in a theatre in Guwahati, Assam, a part of the roof suddenly collapsed, causing chaos.

This accident took place at PVR Cinema in Guwahati, in which three people were injured. The video of this incident is going viral on social media, in which pieces of the fallen roof are clearly visible near the chairs of the theatre. After the accident, a heated argument also took place between the audience and the theatre owner. The injured have been immediately admitted to the hospital, although no official statement has come from the theatre management yet.

Talking about the film, 'Mahavatar Narasimha' earned Rs 23.4 crore on Sunday itself, taking its total net collection to Rs 91.65 crore. This film will soon join the 100 crore club. Released on 25 July, this animated film is based on the story of Lord Vishnu's fourth incarnation 'Narasimha'. The film shows how Lord Vishnu takes the form of Narasimha to protect his supreme devotee Prahlad. This film has received the highest rating of 9.6 on IMDb so far, making it India's highest rated film.
