Rajkummar Rao to play Ujjwal Nikam in biopic directed by Avinash Arun, Shoot begins by year-end

For the last several years, plans were being made to bring the life of the country's famous lawyer Ujjwal Nikam on screen. From time to time, names of different stars have been coming up for this biopic. Earlier there were reports that Aamir Khan could play the lead role in this film and he had also shown interest in the project. However, now another talented actor has been chosen for this biopic.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, now Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the lead role in Ujjwal Nikam's biopic. This film is going to be directed by Avinash Arun, who has previously made acclaimed films like Killa. The film will be produced by Dinesh Vijan, whose Maddock Films is known for content-based and films based on real events.

The script of the film is ready and if everything goes as planned, its shooting will start by the end of this year. It is being said that both Avinash Arun and Dinesh Vijan feel that Rajkummar Rao is the most suitable actor for a complex and deep character like Ujjwal Nikam. Ujjwal Nikam is one of the few lawyers in India who has advocated on behalf of the government in the biggest and most sensitive cases of the country. He fought the case against terrorist Ajmal Kasab in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks and got him sentenced to death. Apart from this, he was also actively involved in cases like 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts, 2003 Gateway of India blasts, murder of Gulshan Kumar and Pramod Mahajan.

Along with this, he also led the prosecution in many such heinous rape cases, in which an example of justice was set by getting the criminals punished severely. Watching such a multifaceted and inspirational personality on screen can be a memorable experience for the audience. Now it remains to be seen how Rajkummar Rao brings this challenging role to life.
