Some time ago, news came out that there is a rift in the relationship of both of them and they are planning to get divorced. Even rumors of Govinda's affair started flying. However, later Sunita came out and dismissed all this news and clearly said that she is happy with Govinda and there is no divorce between them.

Recently, these speculations got air once again when Sunita removed the surname 'Ahuja' from her Instagram profile and changed the spelling of her name to 'Ssunita'. After this, the news of divorce started emerging again. On this, Sunita clarified in a conversation, “I am Ahuja and will always be. This surname will be left only when I leave this world.”

She further said that she has changed the spelling of her name only due to numerology. Sunita said, “I have not removed Ahuja from the name, just added an extra 'S' to the name. I want name and fame, and who doesn't want that these days?”Sunita completely denied the rumors and said, “We are a happy family. Don't believe such things until we say it.”
