The upcoming historical series Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan which is set to drop on Sony Television has taken grandeur and authenticity to an entirely new level with its intricately designed set spread over 10 acres of land. The makers of the film have spared no effort in recreating the 12th-century era, ensuring that every detail, from architecture to aesthetics from the timeline of the legendary king.

Despite the heavy use of VFX in modern filmmaking, the production team chose to build physical sets that reflect the architectural styles and materials of the warrior king’s time. The set is not just a visual marvel but also a historical tribute, crafted in such a way that it mirrors the time period accurately.

Special attention was given to the construction materials used on set. The production team sourced stone and sand from Rajasthan to create authentic flooring, giving the sets a realistic and earthy appeal. From the palatial walls to the courtyard designs, everything was made with an eye for historical precision and grandeur.

The massive set has been divided into six distinct parts, each representing different locations from the life and reign of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. This includes royal chambers, battlegrounds, courtyards, and fort exteriors. Each section was designed with rich detailing, offering viewers an immersive experience into the era. The shooting for the show began only once the set was approved by renowned historian, so every minute detailing of the era was reflected on the set.

With such meticulous preparation for the show, Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan is poised to be more than just a film, it's a visual reimagining of a legendary chapter from Indian history.
