Filmmaker Karan Johar is often active on social media and keeps sharing special memories related to his life with his fans through Instagram. Recently, Karan has shared an old picture, which not only gives a glimpse of his childhood, but also shows the beginning of his interest in fashion.

In this picture, Karan Johar's mother Hiroo Johar and veteran actress Zeenat Aman are seen together. Karan also wrote a long caption with this photo, in which he said that this picture is from 1981. He wrote that his mother and some other women together decided to organize a clothing exhibition. To design this exhibition, he took the help of a young designer Abu Jani, who is a big name in the fashion industry today.

Karan says that this exhibition was inaugurated by Zeenat Aman because his mother had specifically requested her. He also jokingly mentioned that he was also present in the picture – looking at Zeenat Aman – and that he had inadvertently 'photobombed' the photo of his mother and Zeenat Aman. Karan also shared that he enjoyed the tea parties and gossip that took place during the same exhibition, and that is probably where his interest in the fashion and glamour industry began.

Bollywood celebs also reacted to Karan's heartwarming post. Kajol reacted with a heart emoji, while Mahima Chaudhary praised the post by writing 'Wow'. Huma Qureshi also expressed her feelings through a heart emoji and comedian Bharti Singh also liked the post. Notably, Karan Johar was also the talk of the town at the Cannes Film Festival held in France recently. He attended the premiere of the film 'Homebound', which he has produced. The film is directed by Neeraj Gheywan and stars Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa in the lead roles.
