Deepika Padukone exits 'Spirit'; Sandeep Reddy Vanga's sharp post sparks social media debate

The controversy over Bollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film 'Spirit' is continuously increasing. Recently news came out that Deepika Padukone has distanced herself from this film. It is being said that Deepika took this decision after not agreeing on the fees and other conditions demanded for the film. However, director Sandeep Vanga is very angry with Deepika's attitude and has shared a sharp post on social media taking a dig at the actress without naming her.

Sandeep Vanga wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "When I tell a story to an actor, I trust him completely. There is an unspoken agreement between us. But by what you did, you have exposed yourself. Does feminism for you mean rejecting my story by insulting a young actress? I have put years of hard work into this film, for me cinema is my whole world. You did not understand this... and will never understand. From next time, tell the whole story yourself, because now it does not matter to me." After this post, a debate has started on social media. Many users are supporting Sandeep Vanga, while many are trolling him for this post.

One user wrote, "Sandeep Vanga has given a befitting reply to Deepika, he is a courageous person." At the same time, another user reacted, "If Deepika could not fulfill your conditions, then it is okay, but making this public post is a very childish step." Many users were also seen in favor of Deepika. One wrote, "So did Vanga want an actress who works for less money and stays silent? Deepika will always be a superstar."

According to media reports, on May 22, Deepika made some demands regarding long shooting hours and fees, on which she backed out of the film due to lack of agreement. Now the news is that in her place actress Tripti Dimri has been signed for the lead role in the film.
