At the trailer launch event of Bollywood's popular comedy franchise 'Housefull 5', actor Akshay Kumar reacted openly for the first time on the 'Hera Pheri 3' controversy.

He talked about the negativity spread on social media regarding his co-star Paresh Rawal and said, "It is wrong to call any artist an 'foolish'. I have been working with Paresh Rawal for the last 32 years. He is a brilliant actor and I learn a lot from him." Akshay further said, "Whatever has happened is a serious issue and it would not be right to discuss it on this platform. This matter is in the court and it will be resolved there. I do not want to say anything about it now." 

Actually, this entire controversy started regarding the third film of the 'Hera Pheri' franchise, when actor Paresh Rawal distanced himself from the film. After his decision, he started getting trolled on social media and some users even called him an 'idiot'. Akshay Kumar gave a clear response on this matter from the stage. Paresh Rawal's lawyer gave a statement on his behalf saying that the actor had already refused the film 'Hera Pheri 3' and this decision was taken not because of the script but because of other conditions. The lawyer also said that he has sent his reply to Akshay Kumar's production team.

On the other hand, the lawyer of Akshay Kumar's production company says that Paresh Rawal's sudden withdrawal after the shooting of the film started has proved to be a big loss for the film. Due to this, they had to send a legal notice to Paresh Rawal. This controversy has created a stir in the film industry as well as among the fans, because it is not easy for the audience to imagine 'Hera Pheri' without 'Babu Bhaiya'.
