Famous rapper Dabzee was arrested along with three friends from Malappuram on Saturday morning. According to the police, this action was taken in a financial dispute case. However, he was later released on bail. Dabzee's real name is Mohammad Fazil. He was detained by the Changaramkulam police late Friday night. The arrest was made on the basis of a complaint by Basil, a resident of Kanjiyur in Malappuram.
The police say that Dabzee and his three companions forcibly entered Basil's house and created a ruckus and had a dispute over some financial transaction. After receiving the complaint, the police immediately detained the four accused and interrogated them and an FIR was registered on Saturday morning.
The Changaramkulam police said that a case has been registered against Dabzee and the other three under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. However, later all four were released on bail from the police station itself.
