Bollywood mourns Mukul Dev’s sudden demise: Ajay Devgn, Suniel Shetty, Manoj Bajpayee, Sushmita Sen and others pay emotional tributes

Bollywood actor Mukul Dev, who has appeared in many hit films like 'Jai Ho', 'Son of Sardar' and 'R... Rajkumar', is no more in this world. He has died at the age of 54. His funeral will be held in Delhi at 5 pm today. However, the cause of his death has not been revealed yet. The sudden death of Mukul Dev, who traveled from the TV industry to Bollywood, has caused a wave of mourning in the film industry and many stars are remembering him.

Mukul's close friend and actress Diptika Nagpal said in an exclusive interview with Amar Ujala, "I still can't understand what happened. When I read this news in the morning, I couldn't believe it. I thought it was probably a rumour. We were not in touch for the last six-seven months. I was busy with TV and he was travelling between Delhi and Mumbai for his work. His office is in Delhi and he lived there with his mother and daughter. Whenever he came to Mumbai, we would definitely meet. He was not only a great artist but also a very good person. He always lived life with a smile." Diptika Nagpal shared an old picture of herself with Mukul Dev and wrote on Instagram story, "Can't believe it, RIP." Actor Ajay Devgan also mourned Mukul's death and wrote on Instagram, "Can't believe it even now. Mukul, it happened too soon and suddenly. You always made difficult times easy. Om Shanti." Sunil Shetty wrote, "I am deeply shocked by this news. Mukul is gone too soon. May God give strength to his family to bear this loss.

Sushmita Sen, who was Mukul Dev's first co-star, shared Mukul's picture on Instagram and wrote, "May his soul rest in peace." Actor Sonu Sood also wrote on the ex, "RIP Mukul bhai. We will always remember you." Rajpal Yadav wrote in his story, "Very sad news. May God give peace to the departed soul."

Manoj Bajpayee wrote on social media, "It is impossible to describe this news in words. Mukul was like a brother to me. A true artist, full of passion. Gone too soon. May God give strength to the family and loved ones to bear this loss." Mink Brar shared old pictures with Mukul Dev and wrote, "Hard to believe. Mukul is gone too soon. May Waheguru rest his soul."

Mukul Dev started his career in 1996 with the TV serial 'Mumkin'. After this, he hosted the first season of 'Fear Factor India'. He started his film career with 'Dastak', in which he played the role of ACP Rohit Malhotra. This was the same film with which Miss Universe Sushmita Sen also made her Bollywood debut. Mukul Dev was last seen in the 2022 film 'Ant the End'.
