Recently, in an interview to Zoom, Sunil Shetty revealed that Athiya no longer wants to work in films and has chosen a new path for her career.
Athiya made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Salman Khan's production film 'Hero'. Initially there was a lot of discussion about her, but with time she disappeared from the big screen. After working in films like 'Mubarakan' and 'Motichoor Chakna Choor', she completely moved away from the film world. Sunil Shetty said, "One day Athiya came and said, 'Baba, I don't want to do films anymore' and that's it, she took this decision. I never stopped her, but appreciated her thinking that she listened to her heart instead of the expectations of society." Sunil also said that Athiya had received many film offers, but she turned them all down.
