Aamir Khan postpones ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ trailer release amid rising national tensions

Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan's film 'Taare Zameen Par' (2007) still holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. Through this film, Aamir not only made his directorial debut, but also appeared in an important role himself. Now years later, the sequel of this film 'Sitare Zameen Par' is going to be released, in which Aamir Khan will be seen acting once again. However, the audience waiting for the trailer of this film has got a little disappointment, because the release of the trailer has been postponed for the time being.

According to sources, in view of the current situation in the country, Aamir Khan's production team has decided not to release the trailer of the film 'Sitare Zameen Par'. It is being told that Aamir wants to stand with the country at this time and is playing the role of a responsible citizen. It is worth noting that there is an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan and an alert has been issued across the country.

Sitare Zameen Par was scheduled to release in theaters on 20 June 2025, but now there are speculations of it being postponed. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers in this regard yet. Some media reports also claim that Aamir Khan is considering releasing the film this time not in theaters or on OTT, but on YouTube.

The film is directed by R. S. Prasanna and Genelia D'Souza will also be seen in an important role along with Aamir Khan. Aamir had also said in an interview that his character in 'Sitare Zameen Par' will be completely different from 'Taare Zameen Par'. There is excitement among the audience about the film, but due to the current circumstances, the suspense about its release remains.
