There has been an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan since 'Operation Sindoor'. Due to this, many big events are being postponed across the country. Recently, it was decided to stream actor Rajkumar Rao's film 'Bhool Chook Maaf' directly on OTT instead of releasing it in theaters. Now in the same sequence, South superstar Kamal Haasan has also decided to postpone the audio launch event of his much-awaited film 'Thug Life'.
The audio launch event of the film 'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam was to be held on May 16, but now it has been postponed. Reacting to this, Kamal Haasan wrote on social media, "Art can wait, India comes first." He further wrote, "In view of the developments taking place on the borders of our country and the high alert situation in the country, we have decided to postpone the audio launch event of 'Thug Life'."
Kamal Haasan also expressed his feelings about the Indian Army and said, "Our brave soldiers are standing with indomitable courage on the borders to protect our motherland. I believe that this is not a time for celebration, but a time for peace and unity. The new date will be announced soon. At this time, our full support and condolences are with those brave men and women who are vigilant for the security of the country. As citizens, it is our duty to also respond with restraint and unity. This is not a time for celebration, but for introspection."
It is worth noting that Kamal Haasan will be seen in the lead role in 'Thug Life'. Along with him, actors like Trisha Krishnan, Silambarasan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Vaiyapuri are also in important roles in the film. This film will be released in theaters on June 5.
