A video of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan's son and actor Babil Khan went viral on social media on Sunday. In this video, Babil named stars like Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Adarsh Gourav and Raghav Juyal, calling them 'fake'. It is being said that Babil shared this video on Instagram, which was later removed, along with his Instagram account was also deleted.
After this video went viral, actor Harshvardhan Rane gave advice to Babil. He wrote on Instagram story, "Dear Babil Khan, you have divine level acting talent. Carry this legacy forward. Just focus on your work and give your best." Harshvardhan further wrote, "Stay away from events and after parties so that you can avoid irritable people. I am not from a film family but I have learnt that if you don't allow them, they won't misbehave with you. You have to stick to your principles. Also, stay away from alcohol and any intoxicants because you need to stay strong. Take care of yourself."
Babil's mother and Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar also reacted to this video. She shared a post on Instagram and shed light on Babil's mental state. Sutapa revealed that Babil had an anxiety attack while shooting in Hyderabad. She said, "There is a lot of pressure on Babil and I don't like it." Comparing Babil to Abhishek Bachchan, Sutapa said that just like Abhishek had to face comparisons with Amitabh Bachchan, Babil is also under mental pressure due to comparisons with his father Irrfan Khan. Sutapa said, "Babil is almost in depression." He also said that Babil is very sensitive and does not have a fighting spirit, while Irrfan and he himself were strong.
Babil gave his reaction on the whole matter and shared a post on Instagram, in which he said that his video was taken in the wrong way. He clarified that he was supporting these stars, not insulting them. This incident highlights the complexities of Babil Khan's mental health and comparisons between families in Bollywood. Hopefully, Babil will soon recover from this situation and reach new heights of success in his career.
