Karan Johar's Dharma Productions announced its upcoming film, Dhadak 2, today. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the romantic drama will be led by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. The motion poster was unveiled. 

The motion poster of Dhadak 2 introduced the film's tragic and haunting music piece, giving a glimpse of the heart-piecing story. The romantic drama might be walking down a very important subject of casteism in India. The prequel also tackled the subject of honour killing. It was Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's debut.

Dhadak 2 marks director Shazia Iqbal's first theatrical release. For the unversed, she is fresh off her success in the short story in Love Storiyaan, which was critically appreciated across the board. Dhadak 2 promises to be a raw, real, and tragically beautiful love story for the modern age.

With Dhadak 2, Siddhant Chaturvedi reunites with Dharma Productions after the humongous digital success of Gehraiyaan. On the other hand, it is also Triptii's second collaboration with the production house. The actress is headlining Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. 

Dhadak 2, produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures, releases on November 22.
