Karan Johar rewatches Yash Chopra's directorial Veer Zara, recalls turning a designer for Shah Rukh Khan

Karan Johar returned to filmmaking last year with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' which has turned out to be a successful venture at the box office and received massive love from the audience.

Recently, Karan rewatched Yash Chopra's film 'Veer Zara' which released in 2004 and featured Rani Mukerji, Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in the lead. Sharing about the same, Karan took to his social media and shared a story on his Instagram handle.

The post read, “Was watching #veerzaara and remembered Yash uncle so much. Saw my credit as designer for @iamsrk and felt so excited to be a credit in a Yash Chopra film. So many memories @manishmalhotra05.”
  
Karan made his directorial debut in 1998 with 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.' He further went on to direct several films besides producing and acting.
