Ahead of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’s release, let’s recalls top action films of Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is all set to appear in his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Tiger Shroff.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film has generated a huge buzz over the last few days and the fans are in anticipation to finally witness the it on the big screens.

As few days are left until the film which will also star Alaya F, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manushi Chillar, let’s recalls some of the best action films of Akshay who is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of the industry.

Rowdy Rathore - Directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also featured Sonakshi Sinha and Paresh Ganatra.

It released on June 1, 2012 and follows a story of Vikram Rathore, a brave police officer who gets replaced by his duplicate Shiva who turns out to be his look alike.

Boss - The 2013 action comedy follows the journey of Surya who comes from not so fortunate childhood experience turning himself into ‘Boss’ who fights for the voiceless section of the society. 

Directed by Anthony D’Souza, the film has been written by Farhad and Sajid and also featured Shiv Panditt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mithun Chakraborty alongside Akshay. 

Baby- Released in January of 2015 and directed by Neeraj Pandey, the action thriller starring Akshay, Kay Kay Menon and Taapsee Pannu brings the story of the Indian intelligence team which strives to eliminate the terrorists and trace their plans. 

Brothers- Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film featured Akshay and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead revolving around the story of two brothers who are professionally trained martial artists until the faith makes him fight against each other.

Released on August 14,2015, the film also featured Jacqueline Fernandez.

2.0 - The 2018 action science fiction can’t be skipped when it comes to Akshay’s filmography.
Stunning the fans with the visual effects, film starred Akshay, Amy Jackson in the lead.

Jeyamohan and Madhan Karky.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will release on April 10 on the occasion of EID.
