Shahid Kapoor on feeling like an outsider in Bollywood initially: Also came from outside, struggled

Shahid Kapoor has established himself as one of the finest actors of the industry by today.

In a recent interview, however, the actor admitted that it wasn’t easy for him in the initial stage to make it to the top and he did feel like he was behind his contemporaries and even referred to himself being an ‘outsider’ despite being born in family of actors.

Shahid who began his career as a background dancer said,  "I also came from
outside, actually, because I came from Delhi to
Bombay with my mom, and then I struggled. I
didn't have any channels.”

He further added, Talent is not being
given an opportunity as much as it should,
and I pride myself in the fact that I am here
because of the work that I did and because of
the actor that I learned to become, and
whatever it is, I give to the craft."

Shahid was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which released on February 9 this year and also starred Kriti Sanon along side the actor.

The film has received a good response at the box office and followed an unusual love story of a human and a robot.
