The much-loved Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is expanding and we aren't complaining. The horror-comedy films enjoy a special fanbase in India. After the success of the first two installments, the makers have greenlit the third part. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 marks the return of Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan to the franchise.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 went on floors today. Kartik, who will reprise the role of Rooh Baba, shared an update on Instagram. Sharing a picture from the temple at his residence, the actor wrote, "Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today (sic)."
Triptii Dimri will be joining the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise in the third part. Vidya is returning as Manjulika. She was the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1 with Akshay Kumar.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 releases on Diwali 2024.
