Sidharth Malhotra performs his own stunts in Yodha, action director Craig Macrae praises him

Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha is almost 10 days away from its release and the excitement is at an all-time high. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the action thriller also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in central roles. Now, as the countdown has begun, the makers unveiled a video that showcased the making of key action sequences.

In the video, Sidharth, who plays the role of Arun Katyal, can be seen performing his own stunts. Calling Yodha a concept action film, the actor said in the clip that it is something Indian cinema hasn't witnessed before. He went the extra mile for the role and trained in hand-to-hand combats and knife techniques. Sidharth had to also shed some kilos for Yodha. Action director Craig Macrae went on to praise Sidharth's ability to pick up action quicker than anyone in the game.

On February 29, Yodha's trailer was launched uniquely. The makers unveiled it mid-air for a bunch of journalists flying from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.

Presented by Prime Video and Dharma Productions, post their phenomenal success with the national award-winning film Shershaah - in association with Mentor Disciple Entertainment, Yodha is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. The film releases on March 15.
