Aamir Khan lastly appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and despite the great anticipation film turned to be an unsuccessful venture and wasn’t welcomed with much praise by the audience. Since, the actor didn’t appear in any film but did make an announcement last year of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par.
In a recent interview, Aamir addressed about the film and even highlighted that he is thankful that he made all the mistakes in a single film.
Aamir said, "It's a film close to my heart. Advait, Kareena, and the whole cast worked hard, and it didn't do well."
He further added, "After a long time, my film didn't work, so family and l friends came to ask if I'm okay. I realized I'm getting a lot of love after a flop."
He concluded, “Failure teaches you what really went wrong. It gives you an opportunity to understand your mistake in terms of communicating that story.”
Besides starring in Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir has turned a producer for Kiran Rap’s directorial comeback Laapataa Ladies which is set to release on March 1. The actor will also produce Sunny Deol’s Lahore 1947 which will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
