The actress and the cricketer maintained privacy throughout this period and were low-key about the second pregnancy. In an official statement on Instagram, Anushka and Virat announced their son's name as Akaay.
The statement shared on Instagram read, "With abundant happiness and hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time of our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."
Anushka and Virat have a daughter named Vamika. She was born to the couple on January 11, 2021. The doting parents laid down a no-photo policy for their baby girl and requested the Indian media to respect their privacy and not click her pictures.
