BAFTA 2024: Deepika Padukone presents Best Film Not In The English Language award to Jonathan Glazer's The Zone of Interest

Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet at BAFTA 2024 yesterday. Clad in a sequinned golden Sabyasachi saree, the actress made her fans proud as she represented the country on a global platform. She was at BAFTA 2024 to present an award.

Deepika presented the Best Film Not In The English Language award. The trophy was won by director Jonathan Glazer for his film, The Zone of Interest. In her speech, the global icon said, "The incredible stories nominated in this category depict real and imagined worlds that stay with us long after the credits roll. From the Alps to the Andes, Southern Poland to Seoul, the nominees are...and the BAFTA goes to The Zone Of Interest."

 

In 2023, Deepika was invited to the Oscars to present the song, Naatu Naatu, from SS Rajamouli's RRR. The popular track won the Best Original Song. Composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose brought home the trophy.
