Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani's wedding date is inching closer. They are reportedly tying the knot on February 20 as per Sikh rituals. As the countdown began, the celebrity couple took off to Thailand with friends for a fun getaway.
Rakul and Jackky are in Thailand, reportedly for their bachelor trip. Actress Pragya Jaiswal shared multiple pictures on Instagram and one of them featured the couple with a bunch of friends. In the picture, Rakul can be seen dressed in a green crop top and shorts whereas Jackky was seated next to her.
According to a source, Rakul and Jackky had planned a destination wedding. However, respecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to promote Indian tourism, the couple shifted the location to Goa. "Rakul and Jacky had initially planned for their wedding to take place in the Middle East. After nearly six months of meticulous planning, everything was pretty much in order.
However, following the call from the Indian PM in December, urging rich and influential families to choose India as the venue for their big life events, Rakul and Jackky reconsidered their original plans and relocated the wedding to India. Their decision, made in mid-December, necessitated a complete reset, involving the destination, resc and accommodations. Despite the considerable changes, the couple embraced the overhaul, driven by their love for the country and desire to contribute to its growing economy," the source shared.
Workwise, Jackky is producing Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which will release on Eid 2024. Rakul will be seen in Indian 2.
