Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt were at the Joy Awards 2024 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They represented Indian cinema globally. While Alia received the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award, Salman was invited by Turki Al Al Shikh to attend the award ceremony to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to the Egyptian actor Essad Youniss.
Salman shared a picture on Instagram which featured legendary actor Anthony Hopkins along with Mark Wahlberg, Kevin Costner, Eva Longoria, Jean Reno, Anthony Anderson, and Sam Worthington, directors Zack Snyder and Doug Liman, sports stars Tyson Fury, John Cena and Francis Ngannou, and influencer Georgina Rodriguez among others.
Workwise, Salman was last seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He will star in Karan Johar-produced The Bull, directed by Vishnu Varadhan. On the other hand, Alia headlined Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023. She is currently working on Vasan Bala's Jigra. Today, her second film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, titled Love And War, was announced. It also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film will release on Christmas 2025.
