Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan married her longtime beau Nupur Shikhare today. It was a registered marriage in the presence of family members. A grander wedding ceremony is scheduled in the coming days in Udaipur. A pre-wedding reception was hosted by the families in Mumbai this evening.
Nupur, popularly called Popeye, took a rather unconventional route for the ceremony. The fitness coach completed the registered marriage formalities with Ira wearing a black vest and shorts. Before the ceremony, he was seen running on the streets of Mumbai for almost 8 kilometres and then danced with his mother, Pritam Shikhare, and actress Mithila Palkar in the baraat. On the other hand, Ira was decked up in a pastel pink and teal-coloured outfit.
Ira and Nupur's wedding ceremony will be held at Taj Aravalli in Udaipur. They will be hosting two receptions.
