Anil Kapoor talks about the challenges he faced while entering film industry: It was exhausting, it was tiring, frustrating

Anil Kapoor is celebrating his 67th birthday today and is truly one of the iconic actors of Bollywood. In a recent interview, actor went on to share about the struggles he had to face during his initial days despite being the son of a renowned producer Surinder Kapoor. 

Calling his father as an honest person of an introverted nature, he went on to share that his father made it very clear to him at the beginning that he wouldn’t provide any assistance. Further describing the challenges the actor had to face throughout he went on to say that his journey was no type of a cakewalk like many would have assumed.

Anil said, "It was exhausting, it was tiring, frustrating. I looked worse, I felt worse. I used to sit with my friends and have Rum. I was a bitter person."


The actor would be next seen in Siddharth Anand’s directorial Fighter where he will act alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The film is set to release on January 25 of the next year.
