Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Vicky Kaushal’s starrer Sam Bahadur released on the same day last Friday. Despite having a clash at the box office, both films have been giving a commendable performance at the box office.

Sam Bahadur has turned out to be the second-highest first-day opener for the actor after Uri: The Surgical Strike with a collection of Rs 6.25 crores at the domestic box office. The film has managed to earn Rs 25 crores in 3 days and continues to receive appreciation from the audience.

Day 1: Rs 6.25 crores
Day 2: Rs 8.75 crores
Day 3: Rs 10.25 crores
Total = Rs 25.25 crores

Contrary, Ranbir’s Animal has been smashing the box office numbers and seems like it will go a long way. After crossing the mark of Rs 50 crores on its first day, the total collection for now stands at Rs 170 crores.

Both films were released on December 1, Animal has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga whereas Sam Bahadur is Meghna Gulzar’s directorial.
