Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal witnessed the shooting attack on his residence in Canada post which a viral post surfaced on Facebook under the name of Lawrence Bishnoi which warned the singer and also mentioned that his close ties with Salman Khan won’t save him from what is set to happen.

Reacting to the same, Gippy recently commented on it denying the friendship with the actor.

He said, "I have no friendship with Salman Khan and the anger of it is being taken out on me," he stated. "For me, it is still shocking and I am unable to process what has happened to me."

For the unversed, the note mentioned his close ties with Salman, as it mentioned, “Your close ties with Salman Khan won't protect you. It's time for your 'brother' to step up and defend you. “
