Darsheel Safary debuted back in 2007 as a child actor in the film Taare Zameen Par which also featured Aamir Khan. And his character of Ishaan has truly become one of the most memorable ones. In a recent interview, the actor who is now 26 years old, went on to share that he has been getting a lot of calls after Aamir recently announced his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. Darsheel said that there are hundreds of calls on the daily basis ever since the announcement was made.
Talking about the possible collaboration with Aamir once again, the actor said, “I just tell them if it’s fate, we would definitely work in the future. I don’t know on which film, but we would.”
On being asked about feeling that the competition has been rising as many star kids are taking on the acting career. The actor admitted that it did scare him at a point. He said, “It did initially, I won’t lie, I would also get nervous. However, I have realized that there are certain requirements that the film industry has. There are voids that one needs to fill in.”
Darsheel was last seen in a sports drama Hukus Bukus that was released on November 3, this year.
