Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has shattered all records and probably scripted one of the most historic comebacks in the Hindi film industry. His next is locked with Rajkumar Santoshi Lahore 1947, which is backed by Aamir Khan as the producer and Sunny is making sure to revive one more of his cult classics for the fans in his lineup of films.
Rumours were rife that Sunny might star in JP Dutta's Border 2 and adding fuel to the fire is the news of Ayushmann Khurrana joining the actor in the film!
As per the reports in an entertainment website, Ayushmann is currently in talks for the film. "Border 2 is a massive-scale project and is expected to generate the same level of excitement as Gadar 2 right from its announcement. The makers have been in discussions with Ayushmann for several weeks and it's finally on the verge of being close. Ayushmann, who has primarily been part of quirky social dramas, is thrilled to embark on this new kind of journey, teaming up with Deol for the first time," the said source has quoted. 
Produced by JP Dutta, the film will be a sequel to the previous war drama Border that released back in 1997 featuring Sunny, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Shetty, and was a blockbuster.
