Prabhas starrer Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki are definitely two of the most awaited films of this year. While SRK recently confirmed that Dunki is indeed going to release this December, Salaar was set to release in September but recent updates have got the two titans face to face.
As per the latest news, both the films will release on December 22 and have a clash at the box office making it double the entertainment for the audience.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the Salaar team, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram account for the news. He wrote, “YES, IT’S TRUE… SRK VS PRABHAS, ‘DUNKI’ VS ‘SALAAR’ THIS CHRISTMAS… The exhibitors have received a mail stating that #Salaar will arrive THIS CHRISTMAS [on 22 Dec 2023]… An official announcement by the producers, #HombaleFilms, will be made on Friday [29 Sept 2023].
This is the SECOND TIME #HombaleFilms is clashing with #SRK… In 2018 [#Christmas], it was #Zero vs #KGF [first part].
SRK had already blocked #Christmas [22 Dec 2023] for #Dunki… And now #Prabhas also stakes claim on 22 Dec 2023.”
Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and will feature SRK and Taapsee Pannu whereas Prabhas starrer Salaar is directed by KGF fame director Prashanth Neel.
