Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer has been showing a fantastic performance ever since its release. Setting up the bar higher, the film has been breaking the records one after another. Being a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha that starred the same actors, whether it’s a nostalgia or the grandeur presentation, but audience couldn’t stop themselves from seeing the film. Gadar 2 has now turned even bigger as the film became the top Hindi film with its collection of Rs 513.25 crores!
Surpassing the collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Prabha’s Bahubali 2 that earned Rs 513 crores and Rs 510 crores respectively, Gadar 2 has turned to be second all time grosser film for Sunny after his previous sequel Gadar.
Directed by Anil Sharma, the film released on August 11 clashing with the Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2.
