Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan unmatchable performance at the box office is talk of the town. The film is King Khan's second consecutive blockbuster in 2023, following the footsteps of Pathaan. Celebrating the success of the Atlee directorial, SRK along with Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra and Vijay Setupathi hosted an event for the fans and media in Mumbai. During the conversation, SRK, in his quintessential style gave a massive update on Rajkummar Hirani's Dunki!
King Khan said, “I always tell ki 26 January se humne shuruat ki hai, Republic day, it’s a good auspicious day. Janmashtami, Krishna ji ke janam pe humne yeh film release kiya (Jawan). Abhi naya saal aane wala hai, Christmas hai, uspe hum Dunki lekar ayenge. Aur sare national integration rakhta hu, vese bhi jab mere film release hoti hai uss din to Eid hoti hi hai.”

Previously, the rumours were doing rounds that Dunki has been pushed to next year. Directed by Hirani, Dunki will feature Shah Rukh and Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
