Dev Kohli passed away on August 26 aged 80. A renowned poet and lyricist, Dev Ji has written songs for more than 100 hit films like Bazigar, Taxi Num 911, Musafir to name a few, and worked with popular music directors like Anu Malik, Anand Milind, Raam Laxman and others.
The veteran lyricist was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, he began his career back in 1969 with the film Gunda.
His funeral will be held today from 2 pm onwards at his home in Lokhandwala Complex, Mumbai. The last rites would be performed at 6 pm at Oshiwara Crematorium, Jogeshwari West.
