Directed by Anil Sharma, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, Gadar 2 has been breaking the records one after another. The film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar Ek Prem Katha and is ruling over the box office nearing Rs.500 crore business. Recently the renowned composer Uttam Singh claimed that the makers of the film did not approach him for the music and used two of his songs that he wrote for the previous sequel of the film. 

Sharing his disappointment Uttam said, They didn’t call me for Gadar 2 and I don’t have the habit of calling and asking for work."They have used two of my songs in the film and I have also heard that they have used the background music that I composed. They should at least have the etiquette to ask me once and talk to me before using my songs in the film."

Main Nikla Gaddi Leke and Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava are the two songs that Uttam made for Gadar, in the latest sequel they don't have any mention of his name as the composer. Both the songs were recreated by the music director Mithoon.
