OMG 2 trailer out: Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva's messenger comes to rescue his devotee Pankaj Tripathi; Yami Gautam plays antagonist

The trailer of the much-awaited OMG 2 is finally out. Directed by Amit Rai and starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in the lead. It is a sequel to the 2012 hit film OMG, which had Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the main roles. 

As per the trailer, Pankaj Tripathi (Kanti Sharan Mudgal ) will be playing the role of the devotee of Lord Shiva who will face  difficulties as his son gets expelled from the school for some "vulgar" act. To fight this and get his son back to school, he files a case in court, where he is both the defendant and the accuser. Yami Gautam will be seen in the role of the lawyer, opposing his case. And amidst all this Akshay, who portrays the role of the messenger of Lord Shiva, will enter the life of Kanti to show him the right path.

On July 31, the film was cleared the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). It has been granted an 'A' (Adult Only ) certificate from the Censor Board with no cuts but 27 suggested modifications.

OMG 2 will release on August 11 and will be clashing with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2'.
