The trailer of Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has some of the most hilarious punchlines and jokes without sounding insensitive. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the titular roles, the family rom-com is releasing on July 28. As soon as the trailer dropped on Dharma Productions' YouTube channel, Bigg Boss loyalists couldn't ignore the Shamita Shetty connection.
In the trailer, Rocky (Ranveer) is sitting with Rani (Alia Bhatt)'s family members. At the breakfast table, the Chatterjees are talking about elections and how the voting percentage has dropped. Rocky says he has stopped voting as his favourite Shamita Shetty is no longer in the race. When Tota Roy Choudhury asks him which constituency she belongs to, he says 'Bigg Boss'.

Now, Shamita has reacted to the segment. Commenting on a fan's tweet, the actress said, "Awww this was kinda cute!"
Shamita participated in Bigg Boss OTT season 1 in 2021 and was in the top 3. She then entered Bigg Boss 15; the actress was a finalist.
