Atlee Kumar, who is making his Hindi directorial debut with Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara's Jawan, will be turning presenter on Varun Dhawan's next film. The actor has been signed to headline one of the biggest action thrillers. The working title of the film is VD18.

Kalees will direct the action thriller. Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee are bankrolling VD18 under their banners Cine1 Studios and A For Apple Studios. The yet-to-be-titled film will release in theatres on May 31, 2024. 

Workwise, Varun was last seen in Bhediya. His next film, Bawaal co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, will stream directly on Prime Video this month. The actor is currently shooting for the Hindi version of Citadel.
