The teaser of Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani premiered yesterday and people cannot keep calm. While the clip didn't much about the story and the characters, it did assure that opulent sets, stunning locations, good music and a stellar star cast will be there to greet the audience in theatres on July 28.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani reunites Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh after Gully Boy in 2019. This time, they're shown in a different light. They go glam and grand in Karan Johar's world and it is worth the wait. The teaser gave a glimpse of Alia and Ranveer's chemistry and their dance numbers. The actress looked stunning in every frame as she was dressed in dramatic, flowy and colourful sarees designed exclusively by Manish Malhotra. The actor was presented in vibrant costumes ranging from turtle neck T-shirts to blingy shirts and kurtas.
The moment Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's teaser dropped, we couldn't help but feel Alia and Ranveer are the new Kajol and Shah Rukh of Hindi cinema. The uncanny similarities between shots from the teaser and the song Suraj Hua Maddham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham were hard to ignore.
