Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatens Salman Khan once again, says 'he should come to our deity’s temple and apologise'

The 1998 blackbuck poaching case continues to haunt Salman Khan. Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who happens to be the prime accused in Sidhu Moose Wala's assassination, had threatened to kill the superstar. Now, in his latest interview with a news channel, the gangster said he has anger for Salman in his mind since childhood and wants him to apologise to the community by visiting their deity's temple.

"There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him, but he did not apologise. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else. There is anger in my mind for him since childhood. Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologise. If our society forgives, then I will not say anything," Lawrence told.

Lawrence and his men admitted being behind Sidhu's assassination on May 29, 2022. Soon after his demise, Salman received an anonymous letter that read, "You’ll be killed like Moose Wala." This sent a shockwave across the country.

In 2018, Salman got a five-year jail term in the blackbuck poaching case and Rs 10,000 penalty. However, he was granted bail in two days. The incident took place when Salman, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and Neelam were shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain. They were accused of hunting two blackbucks near Jodhpur.
