The entertainment industry woke up to an unfortunate news. Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar breathed his last at the age of 70. According to reports, he was suffering from respiratory and other health issues. Reportedly, Sameer complained of respiratory problems last afternoon and was taken to Borivali's M M Hospital, where he breathed his last.
Sameer was popularly known for playing the role of Khopdi in the daily soap Nukkad on Doordarshan. Reportedly, the veteran actor will be cremated today around 10.30 am at the Babhai Naka Crematorium in Borivali.
