Delhi Police recovers medicines at the party venue that Satish Kaushik last attended, waits for the postmortem report

Actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away in Gurugram at the age of 66 on March 9. His friend and colleague Anupam Kher confirmed the news of his sudden demise. Satish died after suffering a heart attack in the NCR. He was visiting his friend in Gurugram when his health deteriorated and he asked his driver to take him to the hospital. However, he suffered a heart attack in the car and could not be saved. 

Now, Delhi Police has said in a statement that they are waiting for the detailed postmortem report to know the exact cause of his death. A team of Delhi Police visited the farmhouse in southwest Delhi, where the party Satish had attended before his death was organised and recovered some 'medicines'.

According to the news report, a party was organised at the farmhouse of an industrialist. The police is going through the guest list. The party was attended by an industrialist, who is reportedly wanted in a case.

Known for his comic timing, Satish was noted for his roles as "Calendar" in Mr. India, as Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana, and as "Chanu Ahmed" in Sarah Gavron's British film Brick Lane (2007).
