A week before the release of Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Selfiee, the makers have released another trailer to increase the excitement and giving a deeper glimpse into the characters’ world. Akshay plays a superstar in the film while Emraan plays an RTO officer and his biggest fan. The second trailer also takes a dig at the multiple hashtags regarding cancel culture Bollywood is often targeted with.
In the trailer, Akshay is seen facing backlash for his behaviour with Emraan’s RTO officer. The media personnel are seen screaming ‘Hashtag Boycott Bollywood’. In the trailer, Akshay can be seen putting forth his side of the story countering the allegations by Emraan in front of the media.

Selfiee is directed by Raj Mehta and is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Listin Stephen. Star Studios presents Selfiee in association with Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames and Cape Of Good Films.
Selfiee is slated to release on February 24, 2023.
