The highly anticipated trailer of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s film Selfiee is out now. The duo will be sharing screen space for the first time. Selfiee also features Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha in key roles, in a film that tells a "unique story of a superstar and his superfan." The trailer was launched today at a grand event.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Akshay wrote, “Iss kahaani ka villain toh pata nahi par hero #Selfiee hai! Watch #SelfieeTrailer now. #Selfiee releasing only in cinemas on 24th Feb.” The trailer promises a rollicking tale high on comedy and drama, not to mention the recreated version of Akshay and Saif Ali Khan’s hit song Main Khiladi Tu Anari from their film of the same name. Akshay plays a superstar in the film with Emraan playing his biggest fan.

Selfiee is the remake of Malayalam language film Driving License that starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles. The official Hindi remake is helmed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Akshay's Cape of Good Films. It is bankrolled by Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Prithviraj Sukumaran and late Aruna Bhatia among others.
Selfiee is all set to release in theatres on February 24, 2023.
