Twinkle Khanna’s social media feeds are almost always extremely funny and relatable, mostly pertaining to the perils of marriage. Now, the actor-turned-author has shared another video where she calls husband Akshay Kumar as the ‘perpetrator’ of a ‘diabolical plan’ that includes pedaling along an icy lake along with their little daughter Nitara.
Taking to social media, Twinkle captured her husband and her daughter in the boat as they braved the chilly waters and wrote, “On a freezing Sunday morning, someone decides we must pedal along an icy lake. No prizes for guessing the name of the perpetrator of this diabolical plan. My usual philosophy states:Whatever floats your leaky boat as long as I am not compelled to come along for the ride.
Unfortunately the laws of philosophy, physics, and thermodynamics all crumble within a Faraday cage called marriage. True? False?”
She can be heard singing Row, Row Your Boat Gently Down the Stream in the video as they pedal on the lake. Akshay can be seen with a gleeful smile on his face while Nitara was busy engrossed looking at the lake. Akshay wore a yellow fleece hoodie, black pants, shoes and a blue life jacket while Nitara was dressed blue and white jacket, denims, white sneakers and life jacket.
Reacting to the post, actor Soni Razdan wrote, "Hahaha (laughing emoji)." Actor Rajesh Khattar commented, "…except usually, the law works in reverse." A fan said, "Means marriage violates all the universal laws. The universe is not safe.” Another dan wrote, “Ufff… what all prices we pay for sat pheras (ritual during Hindu wedding).” Another user had a different take and called out Twinkle’s bluff in the post and wrote, “Everyone looks rather happy. I suspect despite the grumpy captions you are too, despite your misgivings. But yeah, marriage is a strange beast that makes us do strange things!”
