Kriti Sanon, who is currently enjoying the success of her recently released film Bhediya co-starring Varun Dhawan, has been hearing rumours about her alleged relationship with Prabhas. Now, putting an end to speculations, the actress has clarified through her Instagram stories that she is not dating the Telugu heartthrob. Recently, on a reality show, Varun teased Kriti and dropped in a hint at her relationship with Prabhas.
On her Instagram stories, Kriti shared a note and said the rumours are baseless. "It's neither pyaar, nor PR...our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date - let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless," Kriti wrote.
On Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10's episode Varun said, judge Karan Johar asked Varun about Kriti's name being missing from a list. The actor quipped, "Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam..." Even when Kriti interrupted him, he continued, "kisi ke dil mein hai." Karan then probed and asked Varun to reveal the name. The Bhediya star said, "Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath."
Recently, there were rumours that Prabhas went down on one knee to propose to Kriti on the set of their first film together, Adipurush. According to unverified sources, they were planning to announce their engagement. With Kriti's statement, the rumours are put to rest.
