Ajay Devgn, who is currently busy receiving praises for his recently launched Bholaa teaser was reported to be approaching Salman Khan for the film's sequel. There have been reports that he has already started working on the film’s sequel. The last few days, the rumor mills were abuzz with the news that Ajay has approached Salman for the sequel of ‘Bholaa’, even though there was no announcement or confirmation from any of the two actors. However, Ajay has now refuted the reports with a statement issued by his team.
Ajay's team clarified with an official statement that read, "There are news reports doing rounds in the media about Ajay Devgn approaching Salman Khan for Bholaa sequel. Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn share a great rapport & friendship, however, Ajay has not approached him for the sequel of Bholaa. Currently, Ajay Sir is busy with the post-production of his directorial Bholaa."
After giving a massive hit with Drishyam 2, the actor shared an intense and intriguing teaser of Bholaa this morning showcasing a glimpse into his world. The film features Ajay in the title role and also features Tabu and Amala Paul in pivotal roles.
Bholaa is the official Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Tseries Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures. It will release in theatres on March 30, 2023.
